Position Summary

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will operate various types of machinery—including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, rollers, and more—to support construction and site development projects. This role requires solid operating skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Work may involve traveling between multiple job sites based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

*- Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, rollers, and other machinery.
*- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
*- Follow site plans, grade specifications, and instructions provided by supervisors and foremen.
*- Maintain equipment in proper working condition to ensure safe and efficient operation.
*- Load and unload materials as needed for project tasks.
*- Coordinate with ground personnel to ensure safe maneuvering.
*- Keep equipment clean, fueled, and ready for daily use.
*- Comply with all company and OSHA safety protocols.

Position Requirements

*- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
*- Ability to read grades, site plans, and follow instructions accurately.
*- Strong knowledge of safety practices and equipment operation standards.
*- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*- Good communication skills.
*- Availability for overtime, including evenings and weekends if needed.
*- Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment when required.
*- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
